Tips for Academic Success

It’s the month of September, which means students are finally heading back to school. If you’re currently a student in a Police Foundation program or any other academic program, then here are some tips for academic success.

A major reason that students fail in college or university is due to passivity. However, learning is an active process. In order to succeed, you must be actively involved and committed to your own learning. The more actively engaged your brain is, the better your memory retention and understanding of the material. Remember, it’s always important to take care of yourself. It is difficult to be successful if you aren’t healthy and well-rested.
