OACP SSPO Test – Ontario Police Assessment

Prepare for Part B of the Ontario OACP Certificate with focused practice for the SIGMA Survey for Police Officers (SSPO), the cognitive assessment for Ontario police constable applicants.

OACP Certificate Part B: SSPO

The SSPO assesses the judgment, problem-solving and written-report skills needed in policing. The assessment consists of 74 multiple-choice questions in 35 minutes:

  • 44 Incident Report Writing Aptitude questions covering spelling, vocabulary, grammar and punctuation.
  • 30 Police Problem Solving questions using written scenarios, policies, maps, floor plans, numerical information and basic mental arithmetic.

Eight OACP SSPO-style practice assessments

Ontario members receive 8 full-length OACP SSPO-style practice assessments. Each assessment contains 74 original questions, follows a 35-minute timer and provides detailed answer explanations plus performance tracking.

  • 592 original practice questions across eight assessments
  • Realistic spelling, vocabulary, grammar and punctuation items
  • Police problem-solving scenarios with maps and floor plans
  • Timed attempts, detailed solutions and repeat practice

PATI practice material is also included for additional analytical, mathematics and map-reading skill building.
